Why do we need you ?
Our SGP team is looking for a Digitalization Process Engineer with expertise in Ignition to assist with the development of various quality modules aimed at testing raw materials, monitoring product controls, inspecting finished products, and digitalizing our performance control systems.
The main role
Supporting the digitalization of our production processes, you will be working under the supervision of the Manufacturing Manager and in close collaboration with the Project Manager and the Quality Manager. Interactions with the maintenance team are expected as well.
- Implement Ignition modules to facilitate the testing of raw materials, monitor product controls, and inspect finished products, developing the human interface for our new machinery for monitoring, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Digitalization of Performance Control Systems: Support the digitalization efforts of our performance control systems by identifying robust digital solutions using Ignition, integrating data collection, analysis, and visualization tools to optimize production efficiency and quality control processes.
- Continuous Improvement Projects: Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancing quality control processes, streamlining workflows, and implementing innovative solutions to improve overall production performance.
- Documentation and Training: Create comprehensive documentation, user manuals, and training materials for quality modules and digitalization systems, providing training and support to end-users as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing and validation of developed modules and digital solutions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues related to quality modules and digitalization systems, ensuring uninterrupted production operations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality Assurance, Production, Engineering, and IT departments to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure successful implementation of quality modules and digitalization projects.
- Stay Updated: Stay abreast of the latest developments and advancements in Ignition development, quality management systems, and digitalization technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Is this job for you ?
- Master’s degree in process engineering, software engineering, Computer Science, or any related field.
- Experience with SCADA systems preferably Ignition development and implementation, with a strong understanding of Ignition modules, scripting, and database integration.
- Knowledge of quality management principles, statistical analysis techniques, and process optimization methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
