The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist supports the recruitment functions of hourly and salaried positions. The position will identify and recruit top-level talent for available Saft positions and work with Program Director, Plant Managers and Supervisors on position requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in the field or related area.
- Qualified applicant will have 5+ years working knowledge of HR functions, preferably in a manufacturing environment; 3+ years recruiting experience.
- Should have previous experience with working on Federal contract and with Federal customers.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented problem solvers with demonstrated follow-through.
- Candidate should be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Human Resources industry; familiar with federal regulatory laws, such as FMLA, FLSA, ADA, ERISA, Workmen’s Compensation, ADEA, EEOC, OSHA, etc.
- MUST BE A US CITIZEN OR GREEN CARD HOLDER
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the talent acquisition and recruitment process for exempt, non-exempt, temporary employees, and interns by writing and placing employment advertisements, conducting new hire orientation, and monitoring the career-pathing program.
- Participate in developing departmental goals, objectives, and systems.
- Supports the affirmative action program; file EEO-1 report annually, and maintain other records, reports, and logs to conform to EEO regulations.
- Maintain human resources information system records and complete reports as requested. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Responsible for the travel coordination within the site utilizing the Concur system.
