We are seeking a dedicated Final Inspection Technician to join our dynamic team, where precision and excellence are of utmost importance. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. As a Quality Technician, you will collaborate closely with various departments including production, engineering, and supply chain to implement effective quality control measures. Your keen eye for detail and analytical skills will allow you to identify potential issues in the manufacturing process and suggest improvements.

You will also be responsible for conducting tests and inspections on materials and finished products, documenting your findings, and reporting them to relevant stakeholders. Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. from the floor to chest height
  • Ability to spend long periods of time sitting or standing
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers and volt meters
  • Able to interpret visual standards
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering standards
  • Ability to navigate through basic spreadsheets and other computer programs
  • Battery experience is a plus no battery experience required
  • Citizen or green card holder

Responsibilities:

As a quality inspector in final inspection, you will work on a range of inspection and shipping tasks that include but are not limited to:
  • Inspection preparation: Peeling shrink-wrap or stickers from cells
  • Conducting tests on battery performance (open current voltage measurements)
  • Shipping: Prepare and package batteries for shipment according to company and regulatory guidelines
  • Maintaining quality control procedures and standards for battery production and shipment
  • Managing documentation related to quality control
  • Performing visual and physical inspections and measurements of batteries and battery components to detect defects or deviations from specifications
  • Supporting the investigation of quality incidents and contribute to root cause analysis
  • Coordinating with project management to ensure shipping schedule is understood and met

Salary Range: USD $0.01 – USD $1.00 /Hr.
