We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our team. As the Chemical Plant Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of chemical plant operations, from planning and scheduling to execution and delivery. This incumbent leads the chemical plant EPMR2 team. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and the safety rules for each process activity, including industrial risks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting all quality standards and deadlines. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing, or a related field
- Proven experience in production management, preferably in a battery manufacturing facility
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
- Familiarity with production planning and scheduling software
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred
- Preferred experience with chemical processes such as mixing, dissolution reactions, and wastewater treatment.
- Experience with ISO 9100, Hazwopper, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and optimize efficiency
- Coordinate with purchasing department to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and equipment
- Supervise and train production staff, ensuring they adhere to safety guidelines and company policies
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and engineering, to resolve any production issues
- Manage inventory levels to avoid production bottlenecks and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards
