RRC is seeking a talented Python Developer to help us build the future of U.S. energy production from our Denver, CO office. Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python Developer who specializes in GUI development to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of user-friendly software applications. The successful candidate will work closely with our team to develop intuitive and visually appealing graphical user interfaces using Python frameworks such as Tkinter or PyQt. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on dynamic projects and make a significant impact within a fast-paced environment. This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design GUI layouts.
• Develop and implement GUI applications using Python frameworks (e.g., Tkinter, PyQt).
• Create interactive and visually appealing user interfaces that enhance user experience.
• Integrate backend functionality with front-end GUI components.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Optimize GUI performance and responsiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in GUI development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with expertise in GUI development.
• Proficiency in Python programming language.
• Strong knowledge of GUI frameworks such as Tkinter or PyQt.
• Experience with frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
