Job Description

RoadSafe rents, sells, and services traffic management and proprietary roadside safety products to customers throughout in the United States. We offer a complete line of sophisticated traffic management solutions including mobile radar, trailer mounted video traffic monitoring, and Smart Work Zone systems. We also offer advanced work zone products such as LED solar assisted variable message boards, solar assisted flashing arrow boards, portable work zone lighting for nighttime paving, water-filled barrier and fencing along with permanent and work zone impact attenuating crash cushions, truck and trailer mounted attenuators, plus our entire array of channelizing devices.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the Branch Manager, develop and execute a business plan that will promote market growth and expansion of sales, rental, and contract service revenue opportunities.
  • Manage sales opportunities within the designated territory.
  • Increase revenue and profitability in territory through aggressive sales & rental sales practices.
  • Build and improve customer relationships in territory.
  • Work with branch manager to increase market share.
  • Work with branch estimator to ensure market coverage and consistency in territory pricing.
  • Wide breadth of RoadSafe product knowledge and understanding
  • Identify target accounts in territory and increase products purchased and rental opportunities.
  • Gather information on current market trends to strengthen RoadSafe s position and protect profits and market share.
  • In coordination with the Branch Manager, finalization of the territory yearly budget, strategic plan, and long-range forecasting to provide a structure for increased sales and rental income.
  • Communicate with all branch personnel to ensure sales and rental opportunities are being managed to our standard.
  • Develop relationships with both municipalities and DOT personnel to ensure product protection on RFQs.
  • Bring new product opportunities and ideas to the New Product Development team.
  • Perform product training with branch personnel as well as customers in the territory.
  • Yearly territory business plan and review
  • Timely reporting and forecasting (90 day & long range) of rental and sales assets
  • Responsible for A/R assistance
