About the Position: Warehouse Associate – Residential Job Prep Lead

As a Warehouse Associate – Residential Job Prep Lead at ReVision Energy, you will be a vital member of our warehouse team, contributing to our mission of providing renewable energy solutions. This role combines the general responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate with specialized duties focused on project preparation for residential installations. You will coordinate with various teams to ensure that all materials are ready and available for our installers, playing a crucial role in the smooth execution of our projects.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide support to installation and office personnel.
  • Help maintain the facility with light facility maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with loading/unloading of job materials daily.
  • Assist purchasing department with restocking daily deliveries and managing inventory.
  • Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring undamaged items are reported to the purchasing department.
  • Prefabricate solar-specific mounting applications and maintain equipment.
  • Prepare and stage materials for large-scale commercial projects.
  • Maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
  • Perform general facility upkeep, including snow removal and light cleaning duties.
  • Help with branch event setup and takedown.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Function as a project pack coordinator within the residential operations team.
  • Work directly with branch procurement and operations teams to ensure materials are palletized and ready for loading.
  • Use CRM, site visit photos, and notes to follow branch processes for palletizing materials before project start.
  • Communicate with procurement about any missing materials for project packs.
  • Review job-specific tools or specialty materials and ensure they are available.
  • Work with warehouse staff to prefabricate necessary components.
  • Keep job staging areas clear and organized.
  • Communicate with closing or opening shifts to coordinate truck load-outs.
  • Identify any missing materials on BOMs and communicate upstream to appropriate team members.
  • Identify inefficiencies or inaccuracies in processes and work with the warehouse manager to address underlying issues.
  • Assist with pulling, stacking, and clearly labeling modules.

General Warehouse Support

  • Prefabricate components for solar arrays, heat pumps, and other technologies.
  • Maintain a variety of installation kits.
  • Cut and paint plywood for backer boards.
  • Restock miscellaneous materials left over from completed jobs.
  • Help maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Load trucks for installations.
  • Assist with job site deliveries and inter-shop material transfers.
  • Assist with shipping, receiving, and stocking incoming materials.
  • Assist with vehicle appointment pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Ability to work on your feet all day.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and growing environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft programs and other commonly used software and applications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks in an unsupervised environment.
  • Strong desire to work for a renewable energy company with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
  • Mechanical aptitude and comfort with using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Thrive in a position that involves diverse tasks and responsibilities.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with all co-owners/co-workers.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.

Required Licenses and Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
  • Must have a clean and valid drivers record.
  • Must maintain a DOT card for driving vehicles over 10,000 GVW.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools.

Additional Information

  • Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
  • Training will be provided for all necessary tasks and responsibilities.
