Repsol Renewables North America is seeking a Communication Manager to lead the execution of external and internal communication strategies for RRNA. The ideal candidate is passionate about communications and strategy to drive employee engagement and strengthen brand affinity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage relations with the North American media and act as a spokesperson and representative for Repsol Renewables North America.
  • Ensure the coordination of the team with other areas of the company.
  • Prepare talking points/key messages for other company representatives interacting with the media.
  • Participate in the development of content for Repsol Renewables North Americas external digital assets/channels, proposing development plans and improvements for design and content, ensuring the channels are tailored to the needs of Repsol and its stakeholders.
  • Coordinate corporate events at industry-related conferences.
  • Support project teams as requested with community events and engagement.
  • Monitor and ensure the correct implementation of the brand in all media and materials.
  • Coordinate local sponsorships and work with the business to ensure the correct implementation of the brand.
  • Create and manage the production of high-quality content, including press releases, social media posts, and other digital media, to share information, garner exposure, and increase engagement.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure internal communications are aligned with business objectives and support Repsols culture and values.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis.
  • Create and deliver internal communications content, including email updates, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations.
  • Act as project manager as assigned, managing cross-departmental requests.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful communication strategies.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with media representatives, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in communication and public relations.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US for any employer. Repsol does not offer sponsorship.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications or public relations role, with demonstrated success in managing communication projects.
  • Proven track record of successful media relations and public relations campaigns.
  • Experience working in a specific industry relevant to the organization (e.g., O&G, renewable energy) is advantageous.
  • Certification or additional training in communications, digital marketing, or public relations is beneficial.
  • Must have the ability to work collaboratively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.
