JOB TITLE: Senior Product Manager – Remote – Preference given to candidates in Southern California

JOB SUMMARY: As an experienced Sr. Product Manager, you will be responsible for the lifecycle of our electrical marketplace, defining business requirements from internal and external customers, documenting user journeys, writing scope documents, collaborating on product strategy, and managing product backlogs. As the product manager, you will work closely with user experience design, product development, quality assurance, customer success, and support teams to ensure the delivery of our market-leading solution.

You will play a critical role in defining and delivering excellent experiences . You will closely partner with software engineering and design partners throughout the product lifecycle while identifying key outcomes . Your responsibilities will include managing the software roadmap for your assigned area, detailed definition of initiatives and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality customer experiences that transforms our owners into brand advocates . To excel in this role, you must possess exceptional communication, education, listening, organizational and negotiation skills to influence teams across the organization. Including software engineering, senior leadership, design, system test, marketing, customer support, business strategy, pricing, legal, operations, and privacy teams, to name a few.

Responsibilities

  • Define the software product strategy and roadmap for your given area of responsibility, based on defined outcomes
  • Experience in collaboration with key stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Gather and analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to identify new product opportunities and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document detailed product requirements, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals and user needs
  • Prioritize features and functionality based on business value, technical feasibility, and customer impact
  • Lead the product development process, including coordinating with software engineers, designers, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality software releases
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform product decisions and validate product concepts
  • Track and analyze key product metrics, user feedback, and performance data to measure the success of product initiatives and identify areas for improvement
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on the software product portfolio, providing guidance and support to internal teams, customers, and external partners
  • A genuine love of brands that are focused on creating positive impact

REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science , Engineering, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus
  • 5+ years of strong software product management experience, ideally with a consumer product
  • Understanding of AI and machine learning trends, and how they can apply to the application layer product experience
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
  • Deep knowledge of two sided-marketplaces and the electrical service provider space or either
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and actionable requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build consensus
  • Passion for technology, electric vehicles, and home electrification
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $150K-160K + Bonus

Full Benefit Package including Medical/Dental/Vision. Twelve (12) paid Company Holidays, paid vacation per year, forty (40) hours of sick leave per year as further described in the sick leave policy, life and long-term disability insurance, 401k Plan with a 3% match.
