The Solar Lead Qualifier for Axia Solar by Qcells is responsible for engaging US homeowners who have indicated interest in purchasing Solar PV Systems and Electricity Storage Solutions from Qcells (Solar Leads). The Solar Lead Qualifier will reach out to Solar Leads and reinforce their interest in purchasing by providing knowledge and expertise related to Qcells products. After ensuring that the lead is a quality candidate for purchasing solar and battery storage products, the Solar Lead Qualifier will assist customers with scheduling their formal solar consultation. This position provides an entry into the solar industry with Qcells, the #1 solar panel sold in the US by overall market share. This position reports to the Manager of Marketing & Ops, who oversees the Contact Center for Axia by Qcells, or another management personnel that the President of the Company may designate. This position is based out of our Irvine office, with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct managers discretion in accordance with the Company policies and procedures. Remote options could be considered for exceptional cases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve monthly targets for key lead qualification performance metrics, with focus on driving successful lead qualification and consultation and consultation scheduling.
  • Engage solar leads, provide instructions, set proper expectations, and qualify them as a viable candidate for purchasing Qcells residential solar and battery storage solutions.
  • Effectively manage a pipeline or new and historical solar leads to schedule them for initial consultation or reschedule those that miss consultations.
  • Provide a high-level pricing estimate for customers that are directly transferred to the Contact Center, who are requesting immediate pricing information.
  • Educate homeowners on the various benefits of going solar, building trust and rapport that will increase sales conversion.
  • Accurately field consumer questions regarding the solar industry, incentives, programs and products via chat, SMS, and inbound phone calls.
  • Participate in solar sales training for Qcells products and services as well as tactical training for successful qualification.
  • Attend company meetings and corporate training to improve performance exponentially.
  • Assist in all other tasks related to lead and appointment management.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or bachelors degree
  • 1-2 years of sales experience (SaaS software, tech, or other consultative solutions); experience in residential solar solution sales preferred
  • Strong professional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to connect with people in a virtual setting
  • Desire to grow and take on more responsibility within a fast-paced working environment
  • A competitive drive and ability to exceed goals
  • Must be a strong leader, creative, and possess strategic planning skills
  • Approximately 10% travel
