Job Summary

The Technical Clerk functional requirements, experience and knowledge is driven by the departmental discipline. Performing multiple administrative and technical tasks and assignments for a variety of functions/projects/departments. Must be able to work professionally as part of a team, independently, and/or in a leadership role as necessary to complete the full range of assigned tasks. Strong detail oriented individual with demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments within defined time requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze and evaluate data collected through various channels of information (Corrective Action, Notifications, FMS) create a matrix and monthly departmental trending reports based on departments activities/results/findings.
  • Develop and maintain reports and indicators to measure department effectiveness.
  • Request of information from various levels of internal and external stakeholders (i.e. DOL, HR, NRC, Legal).
  • Data and administration of performance metrics for training and coordination of training activities.
  • Process EmpCenter, timesheets, purchase requisitions, vacation requests, etc., Maintain departmental website and shared drive resources and files.
  • Participation in outages and/or Emergency Plans.
  • Prepare/perform administrative functions, create/revise correspondence, schedule meetings, filing, copying, and time administration duties.
  • Support Station Ownership Committee meetings.
  • Performing function that support compliance with regulatory requirements (receipt, maintenance, storage, retrieval and access) defined for Records and Controlled Documents. Adhere to specific information handling practices (i.e. confidential, restricted and proprietary information).
  • Performing independent administrative reviews and processing of detailed documentation (i.e., calculations, drawings, design change documents, vendor documents, procedures, etc.).
  • Perform high volume scanning, verification and indexing of hardcopy documents; creating quality electronic images for retention as electronic records.

Job Specific Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • HS Diploma or GED.
  • 7 years of administrative office experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point, Visio and Access), SAP, EmpCenter.
  • Familiarity with an Electronic Document and Record Management System (EDRMS) for all aspects of Records and Design Configuration Control data. Reviewing and processing various document and record types.
  • Identify and resolve issues independently; utilizing identified processes while maintaining established production levels.
  • Work as part of a team, independently, and/or in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be capable of lifting ~35lb boxes daily in confined work area.
  • Meet and maintain Nuclears requirements for unescorted plant access.
