Salary Range: $ 101,600 – $ 160,900

Incentive: PIP 15%

Job Summary

The Document Controls Manager is responsible for the development, maintainance and management all Renewables & Energy Solutions (RES) documentation and documentation systems. The Document Control Manager plays a critical role in the management of documented information, ensuring that documented information is created, updated, and stored according to PSE&G policies, Regulatory requirements, applicable contract terms, best practices, and quality-management-system requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create project plans and lead diverse teams in the development/review and update of all required documentation (for electronic and published materials) and project planning including but not limited to manuals, instructions, processes, procedures and protocols.
  • Manage the performance of several employees/contractors in accordance with PSE&G approved guidelines and best practices including: developing project requirements, reviewing scope of work/resumes and hiring, evaluating and coaching.
  • Collaborate with project teams to proactively address and mitigate documentation issues, promoting project success and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop roll-out strategies for change management where and when required, for all new documentation, new procedures, new standards, new guidelines.
  • Develop and track budget effectiveness/efficiency involving all documentation programs.
  • Develop strategy/system for monitoring and evaluating implementation of procedures and standards, need for changes, timelines for reviews.
  • Create, develop and present strong presentations and communications to the Senior Leadership Team.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Communications, Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience documenting operational processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and persuasive management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • 8 years of Operations experience.

Desired:

  • Masters/MBA
  • Experience leading Document Control teams.
  • Previous implementation of Electronic Document Management System
  • Experience to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and diverse environment
  • 5+ years supervisory experience

Education

Bachelors in Communications or Engineering
