Job Summary

We are seeking an Associate Analyst to support Customer Service projects that focus on both customer-facing self-service channels and internal technology platforms. This position will be responsible for working with Business and IT teams to complete end-to-end planning, implementation and post go-live monitoring/reporting for both new and continuous improvement projects. This role will also work closely with cross functional teams to improve overall efficiency and performance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collects business requirements, creates business requirements documents, and participates in design workshops with information technology department and vendors for new products or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Maintains project plans, dashboards and provides analysis of operational, financial and benchmarking data.
  • Completes all assigned quarterly, monthly and weekly reporting requirements, accurately and on time.
  • Supports process documentation efforts. Supports written analysis. Proactively identifies and supports the implementation of process improvements in support of continuous improvement.
  • Develops and maintains data visualization diagrams, source files and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Supports the implementation of new tools and technologies using process improvements.
  • Proactively interfaces with all Customer Service Leads and process owners to support all elements of customer facing platforms.
  • This position may play a role in our Storm Command Center operations
  • This position also requires availability in the case of storm emergencies by periodically being on call for the Delivery Emergency Response Center (DERC) and storm restoration efforts.

Job Specific Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience Required:

  • Bachelors degree or Associates degree with minimum of 2 years of Customer Services experience is required.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
  • Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills
  • Candidate must be adaptable and results-oriented.
  • Experience working with cross functional teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Must be a team player and foster an inclusive work environment with respect for all aspects of diversity.
Desired Education, Skills and Competencies:
  • Knowledge and understanding of Customer Information Systems and billing processes
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated knowledge in customer service
  • Knowledge of Tableau or other business intelligence tools
  • Familiarity with Utility Tariffs and Regulations
