We currently have an opening for a Sales Manager, for our Ultra High Purity Division. This individual is responsible to develop new business and applications, and work in coordination with the global PI UHP sales teams to manage key accounts, manage sales channels, and cultivate OEM relationships. This position is based in the Texas region, reporting to the Director of Business Development- Americas with a focus on expanding sales and applications to the world’s topmost semiconductor and industrial gas companies in Texas.
This is a strategic sales role requiring coordination with our global sales and marketing team, distribution channels, key accounts, and executive management team.

Requirements
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve targets for bookings, revenue, and profitability in Texas, with focus on Semiconductor, Industrial Gas and High-purity Hydrogen Markets, primarily through direct sales
- Execute strategic sales of high-tech analyzer product lines with focus on both base business and large projects
- Expand and manage key accounts, channel partners, integrators and OEMs
- Develop and execute regional sales plans in coordination with the Americas UHP Sales and BDM Manager, and other Regional Sales Mangers globally
- Develop new and existing UHP applications in the Semiconductor, Industrial Gas, High-Purity Hydrogen, and other high technology markets for the territory
- Directly interface with Process Insights Marketing and R&D teams to help position our products and applications in the territory
- Deliver the voice of customer (VOC) from the territory to our teams to continuously grow and develop new products and applications
- Execute our company’s strategic Sales and Marketing plans, and contribute to product development roadmap
- Coordinate customer visits, seminars, symposia, conferences and other events in the territory to develop new sales opportunities
- Participate in relevant exhibitions and conferences
- Participate in weekly UHP sales meetings to review and report on new and existing sales pipeline in Salesforce.com
Qualifying Attributes And Skills
- The successful candidate will have experience in Technical Sales, with knowledge of analytical instrumentation
- Proven experience and successful track record within the gas analysis and/or process instrumentation markets
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to develop new applications, new markets and manage channel sales effectively to achieve annual sales targets
- Result-oriented attitude with a strategic mindset to help develop new areas of business
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Travel expected at a minimum of 50% with ability to travel within assigned region as well as required for company meetings or other business activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills require
- Must be able to work unsupervised and have initiative to follow through on commitments with team and management
