Scope of Job
PowerFlex, an EDF Renewables company, is a leading national provider of intelligent onsite energy solutions that support carbon-free electrification and transportation. Our technology was developed at Caltech, deployed with research partners like NASA, proven-out with customers like Netflix and Childrens Hospital, and now scaling to fleets, corporations, and municipalities nationwide.

The Schedule Coordinator ensures efficient coordination and execution of maintenance activities for EV’s contractual requirements, optimizing resource deployment and reducing costs. Collaborating with local management, the coordinator plans field service schedules, engages with clients, and coordinates subcontractors for nationwide remote site service activities. Key responsibilities include scheduling field visits, updating site contacts, conducting repair debriefs with hosts, and maintaining accurate site access information. This approach ensures effective management of maintenance tasks while actively preserving up-to-date information on field visits and site contacts.

Location
This role is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out of one of our offices (Mountain View, CA, San Diego, CA or New York, NY.)

Responsibilities
30% – Resource Deployment and Management

  • Streamline the deployment of internal technical resources and subcontractors across the nation for both preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Leverage maintenance software to formulate job plans for repair tasks and allocate assignments to the suitable technical resources and subcontractors.

30% – Scheduling and Reporting

  • Verify availability of materials and tools, identifies suitable parts and skill levels, ensures adequacy of Scope of Work (SOW), and establishes safety requirements before commencing work.
  • Ensures comprehensive and accurate recording of CMMS service information, including tech/subcontractor time, material usages, while managing and reporting both short and long-term service schedules and related metrics as needed.

30% – Work Planning and Execution

  • Oversee work orders from initiation to completion, ensuring thorough and professional execution with proper documentation.
  • Ensure availability of materials, tools, identifies appropriate parts and skill levels, verifies adequacy of Scope of Work (SOW), and establishes safety requirements before commencing work.

10% – Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education/Experience

  • High-school or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years providing clerical and administrative support in an office or equivalent environment

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
  • Self-starter who can complete tasks and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision
  • Database experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • Competent knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience with CMMS (i.e. field service lighting) preferred

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $29 – $33 hourly. This position is eligible for PowerFlex’s comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex’s compensation packages carefully consider a candidate’s qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.

Physical Requirements
Remaining in a seated position. Long hours on computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.

Working Conditions
Approximately 90% of the time is spent in the office environment, utilizing computers (frequent use of MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Adobe etc.), telephones, and general office equipment. Possibly 10% of the time is spent traveling to conferences or meetings or field traveling to project sites.
