Through the comprehensive PowerFlex X platform, PowerFlex leverages patented smart software to control, monitor, and optimize a client’s distributed energy resources to reduce cost and maximize return on investment.
The Business Development Managers priority is to initiate, develop and close solar & storage projects, offer multi- technology solutions with our PowerFlex X energy management platform and our patented EV charging for Fortune 500 and large private enterprise customers in North America. This role will manage strategic client relationships with insightful solar consultation and customer servicing throughout the origination and project development process.
The Business Development Manager will build long-standing relationships resulting in repeat business, lead internal project teams, and be supported by the marketing, project development, analytics, engineering, and construction teams at PowerFlex to provide our enterprise customers with completely turnkey and consultative services.

This role is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out of one of our offices (Mountain View, CA, San Diego, CA or New York, NY.)

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $115,000 – $192,000 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlex’s comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex’s compensation packages carefully consider a candidate’s qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.
Physical Requirements
Working Conditions
Ability to travel for in-person client visits, conferences and meetings as required. This will require the ability to walk sites. Primarily office working environment, but occasional field & client visits will be needed which requires standing, walking, and able to document/measure existing conditions. Otherwise, normal office environment.
Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
