Vice President Process Engineering

My client is an innovative solar cell manufacturer that is pushing the boundaries of what is possible with solar technology. They are looking for a Vice President of Process Engineering with a background in the solar cell/panel manufacturing space.

Responsibilities:

• Lead organization across product, equipment, and process development.
• Optimize the efficiency of manufacturing process by conducting detailed analysis
• Strategic oversight and leadership of manufacturing team and attract, hire, retain talent as you grow your team.
• Analyze and identify areas of improvement within operations to improve performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Monitor process performance metrics in regards to cycle times, yield, and scrap rate to implement changes required to meet/surpass goals.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in process engineering
• 5+ years of experience of management
• 3+ years of experience within solar cell/module manufacturing
• Bachelors in Engineering or related field, Masters preferred
• Experience with process automation and control systems.
