PV Design Manager

Job Overview:

A growing player in the renewable energy sector, with a strong focus on solar and energy storage projects, is seeking an experienced professional to join their engineering team. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 6-8 years of experience in utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) design.
• 3-4 years of project development engineering experience, with a proven track record of managing over 1 GW at various stages.
• NABCEP certification is a plus.
• Strong skills in PVSyst, AutoCAD, and grid-scale renewable energy projects.
• A confident and assertive approach, with the ability to work autonomously and be entrepreneurial.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team to define and refine designs for utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.
• Develop and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Work alongside procurement teams to ensure project needs are met.
• Play a key role in building and leading a PV design team as the company continues to grow.
