Project Finance Manager

Piper Maddox has just been engaged in an exclusive, and confidential search by one of more exciting and most rapidly growing IPPs within the renewable energy space, in pursuit of identifying their next Manager of Project Finance.

This organization was founded 10 years ago, and is a one stop shop for DG, C&I, community solar, and smaller utility-scale solar and storage projects in North America. Being the crowning piece of a newer fund that exclusively invests within the Renewable Energy North America middle market, this is a team made of true industry leaders, coming from some of the pioneering organization’s that have paved the way to create the industry the way that it looks today.

With 200MW of assets in full scale operation already, and a robust 2GW pipeline, the majority of which already being in the midst of the development stage, they are ready to truly put the medal to the metal, and start shifting those 2GW into full scale operating assets.

They are looking for a Manager of Project Finance to come in, and play a pivotal role in the fundraising process, and ensure successful securitization of tax-equity and debt-financing, to finance the upcoming project pipeline. This candidate will directly report into the CFO of the organization, an industry veteran with billions of dollars of equity successfully raised in their career, and work with them by supporting the discussions with investors, and owning the execution phase of the deal.

The ideal candidate would have:

-professional experience within a Project Finance/Capital Markets function at a Developer/IPP or Bank

-expert level financial modelling skill, with specific expertise with tax-equity and debt modelling

-the ability to live in Arlington (VA), Minneapolis, or Chicago
