Job Description: The Project Engineer will be responsible for supporting field activities related to the installation, integration, maintenance, and management of BESS systems. This role involves working with both hardware and software components to ensure the successful deployment and operation of energy storage solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a hands-on approach to problem-solving in dynamic field environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of BESS systems at various project sites.
  • Integrate BESS hardware and software to ensure seamless operation and performance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of BESS equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to field technicians and other project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies during all project phases.
  • Perform system diagnostics and analysis to optimize BESS performance and address any issues promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports, manuals, and technical specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the energy storage or renewable energy sector.
  • Proficiency in working with BESS hardware and software systems.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, power electronics, and energy storage technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
