M&A / Project Finance Analyst (Solar/Storage)

Newly established renewable energy IPP spun off from a reputable PE infrastructure fund. Specializing in the development and construction of utility-scale solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in North America. With an existing ~1+ GW, they are looking for an individual to join their M&A/Structured Finance team!

Responsibilities:

• Financial modeling, due diligence, market research, and supporting the structuring and execution of various financing transactions.
• Supporting the origination, management, and execution of M&A and financing transactions for projects.
• Supporting the origination, management, execution, and closing of project-level structured finance transactions (likely 1 to 2 closing per quarter)

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of direct structured finance / M&A renewable energy project transactions
• Strong financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis software.
• Knowledge of renewable energy project financing structures, including tax equity and debt financing.
• Bachelors and/or Masters in Finance or comparable field
• Passion for renewable energy
