Director/Manager/Sr. Associate Solar Developer

Piper Maddox is partnering exclusively with a fast-growing community and commercial solar development company making exciting and exceptional strides in the renewables industry. Their world-class team has experience developing, owning, and operating all types of project sites from carports to ground mount sites.

They are investing in their team and are looking for an experienced and driven Project Development (Director, Manager, Sr. Associate) to help continue to grow their project footprint in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. As the business and its portfolio grow you will have ample opportunity to build a team and make your mark in the industry.

Key Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience developing community-scale solar projects larger than 1 MW.
• Experience developing solar projects in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and/or New York.
• Must have experience with the interconnection process for solar projects.
• Must be familiar with the permitting process for renewable projects and have experience working with local jurisdictions and governments.
• Bonus if you have experience with tax negotiation.
