Piper Maddox has just been engaged in a confidential search by a developer of DG assets with a focus on solar & storage projects.
The organization is the US market entry iteration of one of the most established and recognized energy utilities in Asia, an organization that has deployed over $4.5BB in capital to finance renewable projects across the Eurasian region, through equity and debt.
Up to this point, here in the US they’ve already developed an astounding 100 MW of fully operational solar and storage assets, within a 2 year span, and with the continued support of their parent organization as they continue growing, they are projected to continue on this trend of growth and expansion. They are a smaller team, about 10 people all together, but a leaner and more agile system is what they’re really aiming for. While the focus at this point is on DG solar & storage assets, the organization is technology-agnostic, as they do work with microgrids, inverters, fuel cells, & EV Charging as well.
Their good work is not going unnoticed, as they secured a nearly $100MM capital infusion, with $40MM of which being tax-equity from a major institutional investor just 2-3 months ago.
The organization is looking for a Corporate Finance Analyst, to support their modelling practice and transactional flow, by directly reporting into the Head of FP&A to support them in their long-term analysis of the company’s capital.
The ideal candidate would have:
-1 year of experience (professional or internship) with FP&A financial modeling (budgeting, forecasting, predictive analysis, etc.)
-the ability to live in, or relocate to Southern California
