Who is Petroleum Management?

Petroleum Management Services, Inc. (PMSI) is a veteran-owned petroleum infrastructure company specializing in fuel storage tanks, pumps, and piping systems. We have been serving commercial, industrial, and public clients across Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island for over 30 years.

PMSI provides consulting, installation, repair, regulatory compliance, and environmental services to many major hospital systems, commercial real estate owners, schools, and municipalities.

Our work includes all aspects of projects including, but not limited to, site work and site restoration, excavation, tank installation and removal, piping, electronic tank monitoring equipment, inspectional services, and remediation work.

Additionally, our wholly owned subsidiary, Bullfrog Environmental Solutions, is a licensed hazardous waste transporter which enables us to better serve our clients by handling petroleum and hazardous waste disposal in house.

Clients look to us for our technical expertise, exceptional service, and longstanding reputation as the areas leading emergency fueling system contractor for backup generators and industrial boilers.

The work we do is becoming increasingly important as our nations aging energy infrastructure struggles to meet modern electricity needs like renewable energy resources and building / transportation electrification. What does the ideal pipefitter helper candidate look like?

Has 1-3 years of plumbing or pipefitting experience

Can read plans and understand piping layouts

Is interested in learning the petroleum equipment industrys codes, regulations, and best practices

Is open to service, construction, and inspection work including new system installation, retrofitting, and removal

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must be a self-motivated and reliable person with the desire to learn
  • Ability to work and communicate as a team player
  • Provide clients with high-quality and professional service
  • Perform support activities as directed by the foreman for projects that may include tank and piping system installation, service / retrofit, and removal
  • Assist in regulatory compliance inspections of mechanical systems / electronic leak detection equipment and work with team to ensure all inspections and reports are accurate and complete. PMSI to provide appropriate training

Job Requirements:

  • Plumbing or pipefitting experience: 1 3 years (combination of work experience and vocational education acceptable)
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid drivers license
  • DOT Physical
  • Background check and drug test

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Oil Burner Technician (Optional – Not Required)
  • Confined Space Entry and OSHA training (Optional PMSI will provide all appropriate training)
