This is a permanent, full-time position at our Charles City, IA location.

Responsibilities:
- Panel assembly: Putting together the solar panels at the job site
- Panel mounting: Attaching the panels to a roof or other structure
- Wiring configuration: Connecting the panels to the power grid and other electrical parts
- System configuration: Adjusting the system based on the customer’s needs and the site’s conditions
- System testing: Verifying that the system is operating properly and within acceptable power limits
- Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting any problems
- Other tasks: Installing accessories like batteries, pumps, fans, and collectors
Qualifications:
- Electrician experience (preferred)
- 1+ year of Solar industry experience (preferred)
- Hard-working and dependable with a drive to learn about the solar industry
- Current IA driver’s license
- Have a full range of mobility in the upper and lower body. Be able to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling, and squatting for extended periods.
- Must be able to multi-task.
- Excellent customer service skills required
- Thrive in a team environment Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance required
- Be able to lift, pull, and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
- Be able to lift 75 pounds of weight frequently throughout the assigned workday
- Ability to climb ladders and install conduits
- Perform work at heights of 20 feet or more
- Willing to submit to a driving, drug, and criminal background check
- Possess all necessary hand tools to complete the work.
