Your Impact
As Director, Wind Services you will be instrumental in helping Pearce set the worldwide standard in service excellence for the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of renewable energy infrastructure. You will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, all key operational and financial metrics as well as the operating rhythm and rigor as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The Director will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Wind and other senior leaders to drive the company’s wind energy initiatives forward.
Core Responsibilities
- Define, measure, and drive key performance indicators to assess performance in safety, quality, financial, and strategic initiatives for Wind Services.
- Utilize performance indicators to drive profitable growth across Wind Services and identify risks and opportunities.
- Lead operating rigor across the wind service line, including forecasting, P&L reconciliation, and financial and operational reviews.
- Assist in annual planning of the operating budget and forecasts for wind services, understanding the impact on the overall division.
- Contribute to the development of wind services’ business and customer strategy.
- Review and advise on large customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
- Assist with the operational integration of new companies.
- Lead and manage ad-hoc projects.
- Promote a culture of safety and ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols.
- Encourage and support innovation within the team to drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages professional growth and development at all levels.
Core Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience managing teams and large-scale wind energy projects.
- Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, operations, and maintenance.
- Ability to build positive cross-functional relationships and influence and negotiate with clear communication.
- Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills with a sound understanding of P&L Management.
- Proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement across the services line.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple complex situations, deliver under pressure, and adapt quickly to evolving business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
