Your Impact

As a Pearce Construction Manager for our Renewables team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the construction activities on-site on behalf of the client. Working closely with the customer and EPC contractor, the Construction Manager ensures that the project is executed according to the client’s requirements, contractual obligations, safety standards, budget, and timeline. The role involves regular communication with stakeholders, proactive problem-solving, and maintaining the highest standards of project delivery.

This position will require you to be on site. Actual site location will vary in the US. Expected duration for each project is 8-10 months with a 6 week on, 1 off rotation.

Core Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and timelines.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client and EPC contractor, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Monitor and report progress, identifying and resolving any issues that could impact project delivery.
  • Review and approve contractor plans, schedules, and quality control measures.
  • Ensure that the EPC contractor adheres to all contractual obligations, including cost control and change management processes.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify the work meets client expectations and industry standards.

Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in construction management, preferably in the renewable energy sector (solar, energy storage).
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive toward common goal.
  • Experience with site management in utility solar and/or energy storage.
  • Extensive knowledge of the renewable energy industry and current industry best practices.
  • Ability to complete extensive reports and updates on the project.
  • Strategic thinker recognizes project delays, identifies critical path to meet project schedule and budget.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills-can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to manage tasks outside normal job scope as needed.

Physical/Work Environment

At Pearce safety is our number one concern. Candidates must be able to comply with OSHA Standards.

  • Work possible rotating shifts (100% travel is required for this position).
  • Prolong standing and working in ergonomic challenging positions.
  • Varied climates based upon locations.

Compensation: $40.00-$55.00 hourly/DOE and Per Diem
