We will be focusing on our existing portfolio of property management clients in the educational sector as well as expanding into residential and new commercial opportunities. Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Solar Installation Project Manager to oversee and manage solar installation projects from start to finish. The Ideal candidate will have worked with a pool of reliable and knowledgeable sub-contractors who they will be able to contract with and manage for various solar projects, as well as be comfortable in sales pitches and marketing efforts. They will have a strong background in solar energy, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of installers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage solar installation projects from start to finish

Manage and develop a pool of vetted and experienced solar installation sub-contractors

Facilitate and manage contracts with sub-contractors

Help facilitate and support direct sales and marketing efforts

Manage the full lifecycle of solar installation projects, from planning and design, permitting and approval, to execution and completion

Coordinate with clients, city/utility officials and installation teams to ensure project goals and deadlines are met

Oversee site assessments, permitting, and procurement processes

Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely and efficient project execution

Monitor project budgets, adjusting as necessary to stay within financial targets

Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices

Lead and mentor installation teams, providing guidance and support as needed

Resolve any project-related issues or conflicts promptly and effectively

Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and addressing any concerns

Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy, excellent project management skills, and the ability to lead a team of installers, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality

Proven experience as a Project Manager in the solar industry or a related field

Experience in sales and marketing efforts of solar installation projects strongly preferred

Strong knowledge of solar installation processes, equipment, and best practices

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

Strong leadership and team management skills

Strong pool of contacts for vetted and reliable Solar sub-contractors

Familiarity with local building codes and regulations related to solar installations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Project management: 3 years (Required)

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
