Project Finance Analyst

We have partnered with a start-up developer and financier that has acquired over 3 GW of renewable energy assets that they are taking to NTP in the search for a young, driven, entrepreneurial candidate to join their platform as a Project Finance Analyst.

You will be responsible for project-based financial modeling and documentation preparation which will have broad impacts on the greater business including supporting the Development, Origination, M&A, Corporate Finance teams to optimize and maximize potential returns.

This is a small knit team which would afford tremendous opportunity to get exposure to large transactions and have extensive deal exposure. This is a rare opportunity to get into the mix early and grow rapidly in a well financed environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Modify and maintain tax equity models with the exposure to partnership flips; understanding of the other various structures is nice, but not necessary
• Coordinate with many different departments internally to keep financial models current
• Support scenario analysis for investment decisions
• Support teams in conducting due diligence and investor relations
• Assist in managing construction loan drawdowns and financing agreement compliance
• Assist in project budgeting and corporate reporting

Qualified Candidates will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, business, economics or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience with project finance models relevant to investment banking or the renewable energy industry including experience modeling tax equity and debt structures
• Self motivator with exceptional leadership
• Highly proficient in utilizing Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Independent learner who can quickly apply
• Ability to prioritize and deliver top-quality work product in multiple areas
• Strong organizational skills
• Authorized to work in the united states
