Description:
- Prioritize safety by adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Continuously seek ways to enhance safe practices within the solar site.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on PV inverters, combiner boxes, solar panels, and BESS components.
- Able to replace/install hardware, PV modules, inverters, monitoring equipment and any other battery equipment.
- Replace or install hardware, PV modules, inverters, monitoring equipment, and any other necessary components.
- Conduct electrical testing using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and established procedures.
- Prepare reports as needed to comply with O&M contracts.
- Perform commissioning of equipment depending on degree on maintenance needed.
- Assist with all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance under minimal supervision.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, quality standards, environmental health, and safety practices.
- Use equipment and resources according to company instructions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Utility-Scale Solar
- NFPA 70e training
- Experience with PV system site inspection, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting
- Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
- Strong knowledge in electrical systems and commercial solar spaces
- Strong safety mindset, work ethic, and communication skills
