As a Renewable Energy Project Finance and M&A Senior Analyst, you will be a key player in conducting financial analysis, evaluating potential M&A opportunities, and providing strategic insights to support our company’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling: Create and maintain project finance models to evaluate the financial feasibility and potential return on investment of solar projects.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities and risks that could impact our financial model and strategies.
- Risk Assessment: Analyze potential risks and rewards associated with transactions, ensuring that they align with the company’s strategic goals and financial objectives.
- M&A Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential M&A targets, including financial, high-level technical, and market analysis, to assess their suitability for integration into our solar development business.
- Valuation: Determine the valuation of potential targets and assist in negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
- Deal Structuring: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop deal structures that maximize value while aligning with our company’s long-term vision and financial objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and recommendations to management, guiding them in making informed decisions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in project finance modelling, M&A, or corporate finance, with a strong understanding of renewable energy and solar development.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, project finance principles and market research.
- Proficiency and proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of energy sector regulations and industry trends is a plus.

Salary Description
$100,000 – $122,000
