As a Series C-funded company, we are poised for rapid expansion and are seeking a seasoned Sales Operations team leader to spearhead our global sales efforts and contribute to our mission of making green hydrogen accessible globally.
Role Overview: The Senior Director of Sales Operations is a hybrid role working primarily from our office in the East Bay. The Director will play a pivotal role in scaling our sales operations to meet aggressive growth targets. This individual will optimize our sales processes, implement best-in-class sales technologies, and drive the sales strategy that aligns with our mission and market opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales operations strategy that supports the company’s growth objectives.
- Lead the sales operations team, setting clear goals, managing performance, and providing ongoing coaching and development.
- Design and implement efficient sales processes and systems to streamline operations and improve sales productivity.
- Utilize analytics to monitor sales performance and identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to ensure alignment on targets, strategies, and customer insights.
- Oversee the management of sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes, ensuring accuracy and accountability.
- Evaluate and implement sales technology tools and platforms to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay informed of industry trends and competitor strategies to adapt and innovate our sales approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in the green hydrogen or renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of scaling sales operations and achieving significant revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with sales metrics and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Deep knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and sales enablement tools.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
