Northeast Energy Efficiency Partnerships (NEEP) is a regional nonprofit that works to accelerate building energy efficiency, electrification, and grid-flexibility across Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states as a core strategy to reduce climate pollution and build an affordable, sustainable, and resilient energy future. NEEP focuses on the components key to rapid, equitable decarbonization of the regional buildings sector – strong policies and regulations to address building emissions, market transformation for electric building technologies, community-led solutions, a diverse and experienced workforce, and replicable program and business models for low-carbon retrofits. NEEP supports collaboration among government, industry, community groups, academia, and advocates to drive long-term regional change.

We are a remote-first organization, which allows our employees to work in any of NEEP’s 13 states/jurisdictions in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. The Grants Project Manager is responsible for managing NEEP’s funding proposals and grants. This includes developing funding materials such as grant proposals to foundations and federal and state agencies; researching potential funding sources and opportunities; and facilitating constructive, productive relationships with NEEP’s funders (e.g., foundations, federal and state agencies, etc.). The Grants Project Manager reports to the Executive Director and works closely and collaboratively across the organization including with NEEP’s Senior Management Team, Program Leads, Finance, Operations, the Strategic Marketing & Communications Team, and program staff.
A day in the life of this role
In this role, you’ll manage the grants process at NEEP by partnering with colleagues across the organization on proposal development, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and maintaining relationships with funders.

Support New and Existing Funding Relationships
Implement and Monitor NEEP’s Fundraising Plan
