Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team who can service as far South as the San Antonio area and as for North as the Austin area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work and experience in solar panel installation. This position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
Responsibilities:
– Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures following NEC codes and blueprints
– Perform electrical wiring and connect solar panels to inverters
– Utilize power tools to secure panels in place
– Read and interpret schematics for efficient installation
– Install fixtures for proper panel orientation and angle
– Work with both high voltage and low voltage systems
– Perform maintenance on existing systems
Requirements:
– Prior experience in electrical work, preferably as a commercial electrician and preferably at least 1 year experience installing solar
– Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding NEC codes
– Familiarity with power tools used in solar panel installation
– Ability to work with high voltage systems safely
– Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
