Position Specific Description
Employees in this role perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on inverters, trackers, energy storage systems, high voltage systems, control systems and other associated equipment. Individuals understand the solar and energy storage mechanisms, including both electrical and maintenance of inverters, of all solar and energy storage components. This position replaces mechanical and electrical components, understands schematics and controls systems and uses appropriate diagnostic tools. The successful candidate will interpret fault reports, maintain power generation reports, service logs in the computer database, and monitor inverter and energy storage systems performance and SCADA systems. Employees will support a portfolio of projects across the region, to include TX, OK, LA, and AR. The ideal candidate will be based in the region to support the travel schedule. This position requires 100% travel availability.

Individuals understand the process and functionality of all electrical components associated with solar inverters, battery management systems, fire protection systems, air conditioning systems, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, control networks and programable logic controllers. Individuals will be a subject matter expert in proper utilization of electrical safe work practices. This position will also be a regional electrical safe work practices subject matter expert and provide coaching to other technicians on electrical safe work practices.
