Position Specific Description

NextEra Energy Resources is looking for an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to join our litigation team and support our Assistant General Counsel in our Juno Beach office.

Responsibilities Include

Assists with case files, evidence books and hearing preparation including witness lists, discovery and exhibits

Prepares outside counsel engagement packages, budgets and track outside counsel invoices to ensure budget control for extensive multi-jurisdictional legal practice

Sets up and maintains Sharepoint databases and electronic files for major proceedings

Assists in preparing and e-filing pleadings, legal documents and administrative agency reports

Assists in preparing PowerPoint and other management presentation materials

Proficient with computer systems, applications and common office technology

1-3 years’ experience in an in-house litigation department or law firm

  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
