Job Description
NexGen Construction is looking for a full-time Solar Installer to join our team. Minimum 1 year construction experience, living within 10 miles of 90720. This position will provide support to the lead installers and you will be joining an up-beat, friendly team. We would love to find someone who is a hard worker, pleasant, and blends into our work environment well!
Solar Installer
- Follow all company policies
- Aid lead installer in installation of residential solar pv
- Load inventory for each project
- Lift, layout, and install solar pv
- Maintain a clean and operable work environment
- Drive company vehicle to job site and back when necessary
- Maintain positive points of contact with customers
- Additional duties required as needed
Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must be able to pass a criminal, driving, and drug screening
- Regular and reliable attendance required
- Previous construction experience a plus
- Must be able to lift above 50 lbs
- Must be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
- Must be comfortable climbing ladders, being on a roof, crawling in attics and crawl spaces
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to present themselves in a professional manner

Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 50 per week
