Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs in-process inspection audit
Prefer employee to have knowledge of statistical process control
Performs raw material receiving inspections, in-process checks, and final inspections
Performs layout using Coordinate Measuring Machine for product dimensional layout
1. Prefer employee to have knowledge of PC DMIS software
2. Prefer a minimum level of programming knowledge, require to be able to run a previously established CMM program
3. Requires 1st article and 100% product layout
Documents findings and maintains document and data control system with the Quality department
Enters data into statistical database for evaluation
Reads blueprints
1. Requires extensive blueprint/product drawing reading skills
2. Requires a minimum level of geometric dimensioning and tolerance skills
Supports internal and external IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 management systems
1. Requires employees to have working knowledge of procedures and requirements
Set up and conduct destructive fatigue testing per customer requirements. Perform evaluation at conclusion of test
Conduct accelerated environmental testing per customer requirements. Perform evaluation at the conclusion of test
Gage layout; gage calibration; gage R&R; gage metrology
1. Requires employee to have knowledge of gage calibration
2. Requires employee to have the ability to use precision measuring gages
Provides miscellaneous production support and special projects
Performs reliability testing, microstructure, and decarbonization analysis
Non Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Must be able to communicate effectively with team members utilizing good verbal and written skills
Participate in inventory and/or cycle counts as needed

Physical Tasks:
Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature.
Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, works with fingers, and perceives attributes of objects and materials

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with his/her supervisor and other employees of the organization
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute, rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Other cognitive tasks as required
