National Grid is hiring a Principal Analyst, Strategy Development for Massachusetts This is a Hybrid Role – Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations
This role supports the New England Business Units gas network decarbonization transformation by contributing to strategic plans and roadmaps, helping to set the right priorities, driving effective execution of needed initiatives, supporting the development of new capabilities, identifying needed regulatory/policy enablers, and aligning decarbonization and other outcomes to Company and state/federal goals. The remit also includes contributing to and sometimes managing strategic initiatives and special projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving innovation.
The New England gas COO is accountable for overall execution of the gas network decarbonization transformation. This transformation comprises multiple workstreams, which each have executive sponsors and cross-functional teams mobilized to execute. This role will partner with those executive sponsors and teams to drive progress on one or more workstreams.
This role has multiple stakeholders and success will require effective facilitation and coordination skills as well as the ability to challenge established thinking and lead discussions among internal stakeholders. Your voice will be an important one in these debates and your ability to influence and take stakeholders with you will be crucial to your success.
Salary – $156,000 – $184,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
