National Grid is hiring a Director, Future of Electric for our Strategy and Regulation department in Waltham, MA.

This role leads the New England Business Units digitally enabled, decarbonized electric network transformation by developing strategic plans and roadmaps, setting the right priorities, driving effective execution of needed initiatives, leading the development of new capabilities, identifying needed regulatory/policy enablers, and aligning decarbonization and other outcomes to Company and state/federal goals. The remit also includes leading strategic initiatives and special projects, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving innovation.
This role has multiple stakeholders and success will require effective facilitation and coordination skills as well as the ability to challenge established thinking and lead discussions among internal stakeholders. Your voice will be an important one in these debates and your ability to influence and take senior stakeholders with you will be crucial to your success.
Salary Range: $195,000 – $229,000
