Executive Vice President of Development

We have partnered with a prominent solar and energy storage developer who has been a key player in the renewable energy market since 2014. They have emerged as the foremost developer, builder, owner, and operator of distributed energy storage and solar PV systems in the northeastern U.S., delivering reliable and cost-effective clean energy solutions for off-takers, utilities, and municipalities.

The Executive Vice President of Development will lead the Business Development team, driving project development strategy and expanding the renewable energy and battery energy storage portfolio. This leadership role involves primary responsibility for the company’s business development strategy, project origination, M&A activity, and the establishment of strategic partnerships to foster growth in the renewable energy and battery energy storage markets. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, this position requires a blend of strategic vision, business acumen, and industry expertise.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Passion for electricity markets and a desire to make a substantial contribution to a growing renewable energy IPP.
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong drive to succeed.
• 10+ years’ experience in project development focusing in the US renewable energy industry.
• Proven track record of success in renewable energy project development, with a focus on solar, wind, or other clean energy technologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, finance, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Salary range: $275-325k + Bonus
