Our expertise lies in sales, design, installation, and maintenance of solar panel systems across NYC and expanding. Mpower is excited to offer an exciting opportunity for a Solar Operations Manager at our Brooklyn, Headquarters.

As a Solar Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our solar company’s operations. You will oversee multiple teams including Sales Support, Proposal Creations, and Project Management, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks. Your strategic mindset, leadership abilities, and operational expertise will be essential in driving the success of our solar projects.

Responsibilities

The Solar Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing three teams while maintaining excellent stakeholder management.

  • Proposal Creation Team
  • Supervise the proposal team in creating designs and proposals for prospective customers.
  • Review proposal documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to develop customized proposals tailored to customer needs.
  • Operations Team
  • Manage the timely execution of solar installation projects.
  • Coordinates with cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time completion.
  • Work with Sales Team to obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables.
  • Sales Support
  • Oversee sales support functions including payroll management, sales data tracking, and report generation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for sales staff.
  • Track sales data, analyze trends, and prepare comprehensive reports for management review.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the solar energy industry.
  • Self-starter, highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work products.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary $115,000 Annually
