Job Description:
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing projects that focus on renewable energy, microgrids, energy storage, and other distributed energy solutions. You will be responsible for planning and executing projects while ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your role will also involve creating proposals and budgets for new projects, managing cross-functional teams, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring that project objectives are met.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in project management within the distributed energy industry, general engineering, or mechanical/civil construction.
3. Must be able to read and interpret MEP engineering & construction drawings.
4. Experience with submitting plans, reviewing plan check comments, and pulling permits.
4. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is not required, but is a plus.
4. Strong knowledge of distributed energy technologies, renewable energy, and general mechanical/civil construction practices.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe PDF and project management software. Familiarity with Bluebeam and AutoCAD is not required, but a plus.
7. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
