Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to assist with growth supplying metal products to the Solar industry. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales growth by providing technical expertise and support to our internal team and customers. This role involves collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to understand customer needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and effectively communicate the value proposition of our solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical expert on our products and solutions, understanding their capabilities, features, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and qualify leads, develop sales strategies, and close deals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to prospects and customers, showcasing the value of our solutions.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide customized technical solutions to meet their needs.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and technical documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to date on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on product enhancements, market opportunities, and customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in technical sales of metal components and assemblies to the Solar industry in a must.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex concepts.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
