Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Electrician

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, ensuring the seamless execution of projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.   • Supervise site personnel and subcontractors, providing guidance, support, and training as needed to maintain high safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor on-site performance and conduct regular inspections.
  • Direct and guide project teams to ensure seamless collaboration and adherence to project timelines and objectives.
  • Practical knowledge of foundation construction techniques for battery storage system installations, ensuring stability and longevity of the infrastructure.
  • Understanding of medium voltage cable installation practices, including terminations, splicing, and cable pulling, to ensure reliable electrical connections and system performance.

  • Compensation Range: $41/hr to $48/hr based on experience

What is Required?

  • Pass Pre-Employment drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to travel as needed for projects.
  • Ability to Work at heights.
  • 3+ years of industry experience. BESS, MV or renewable experience preferred.
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods with repeated lifting (Up to 50 lbs.), kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to work while constantly moving on one’s feet.

This position is subject to the Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) drug & alcohol testing regulations as outlined in 49 CFR Part 382 and/or 49 CFR Part 199.
