Required Skills/Job Description:
- Oil and Gas Automation
- Must work well with others

- Must Be Willing to work out of town when necessary
- Install safety systems, including emergency lighting, back up battery systems and uninterrupted power supplies
- Some experience in AC Voltage (Do not need to be a licensed electrician)
- Install standalone solar packages (Competent in DC Power)
- Bend, run and install rigid conduit and wire pulls.
- From ½ Inch Rigid to 2 Inch Rigid conduit
- Run Seal Tight and Direct Burial Cable in Oil and Gas Facilities
- Terminating and labeling end devices and all PLC panels.
- Troubleshoot all low voltage electrical.
- Terminate Low Voltage Wiring Neatly in PLC Cabinets
- Able to run amp draw calculations
- Set up, calibrate, and install wireless transmitters
- Set up address and install 4-20 HART Protocol Devices
- Set up and install Modbus Protocol devices
- Set up, install, and calibrate Vega Guide Wave radars
Must be able to perform false signal suppression, Paramater change and understand circumstances for parameter changes
- Set up, install, and program ABB Total Flow systems.
- U Flo, XRC, XFC, RMC (all models)
- Set up, install, and program Red Lion HMI’s.
- CR3000, CR1000, G07000 (all Models)
- Set up, configuration and installation of Cellular Modems and Free wave, Ubiquiti and Cambium radios.
- RV50’s and Microhard Modems
- Must have an understanding of radio network and their associated components
- Understand and perform Path Study Survey using Computer Programs such as Google Earth, Ubiquiti and Cambium Programs
- Understanding of PLC cabinet Devices such as MOXA Serial to Ethernet Converters, HART to Ethernet Converters, Dual Tier Terminal Blocks, Fuses
- Must be able to read PID’s and Wiring Diagrams
- Install and program Emerson ROC 107 and ROC 800’s.
- Install, trouble shoot and repair of end devices such as Signal Fire brand pressure transmitters, Guide Wave Vega Radars (Single Chamber and Dual Chamber), Eelctric Level switches, ABB Flow Meters XMV’s, ABB XFC’s, Turbine Meters, Coriolis Flow Meters, Oleum Tech tank Level Sensors and other end devices.
- Competency in wired and non wired end devices
- Ability to check/calibrate loops on wired devices
- Competency in checking RSSI levels for wireless devices and Modems
- Troubleshoot, fix, and improve electrical controls and PLC panels
- Firm understanding of electrical Relays (12VDC and 24VDC)
- Understanding of wiring battery banks in 12V or 24V fashion
- Have a firm understanding of Pneumatic Controls
- High/Low Pilots, Kimray Pilots, Murphy Switchgauges, Solenoids etc
- Test and assemble Safety system components.
- Work Competently in all Microsoft Applications
- Be familiar with Networking devices such as ethernet switches
- Able to terminate and test Cat5 Cable
- Must be able to competently bend stainless tubing (1/4”, 3/8” and ½” Tubing)
- Calibrate gas flow measurement devices (3 Point and 5 Point Calibration of ABB Flow Meters)
- Must be willing to work and not be too good to do any of the associated tasks that come with any portion of the job
- Must be willing to work long days and early mornings
