Development Engineer

I’m currently looking for a talent Development Engineer to join a leading solar technology company at their R&D site based in Santa Clara, CA.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct research on materials and devices by designing and developing chemical processes to improve the performance and stability of thin-film solar cells while reducing manufacturing costs.
• Oversee projects or functions that support departmental goals and deliverables.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze development engineering experiments in both laboratory and manufacturing settings.
• Utilize statistical and engineering methods to enhance organizational efficiency and develop improved methods for use by others.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering or related field or Master’s Degree and 3 years of relevant technical experience.
• Strong experience within R&D
• Experimental research experience
