Accountable for executing strategy in support of the East Region Director of Supply Chain. The planning, executing and support of the warehouse, fleet and facility activities for their assigned operations. Collaborates with the procurement manager for the maintenance of stock inventory of all material stock, stock requisitions, returns, etc.; analyzes physical inventory counts and reconciles results with inventory records. Reviews with Warehousing team that inventories are secure, properly identified and readily accessible to authorized personnel. Conducts analyses and coordinates with warehousing Manager/team, production, and operations requirements. Responsible for performing and assigning tasks to employees to ensure compliance with these activities. Must be willing to handle other duties as assigned in our evolving enterprise. This includes analyzing current warehouse, fleet and facility processes, identifying gaps, and developing and executing a strategy focused on significantly reducing costs, while maximizing efficiency. Will provide user support for implementation and maintenance of inventory software applications. Assist in managing the daily activities of the New Hampshire Supply Chain

Accountabilities

  • Lead and coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities, from material replenishment through to distribution, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials in collaboration with cross functional teams. Provide emergency support when needed. Manage day to day supplier relationships and support contract negotiations for the procurement of goods and services
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet & facilities efficiency and reduce operational costs
  • Develop and manage budgets for both fleet and/or facilities, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost control
  • Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising safety or efficiency
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for fleet and/or facilities operations. Enforce safety protocols for both fleet and facility operations
  • Maximize the use of SAP software for supply chain data analysis, reporting, and process optimization. Leverage SAP software for advanced analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making

Education and Experience

  • 5-10 years of supply chain management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred, not required
  • Prior inventory and warehousing experience required.
  • SAP experience highly desirable
  • Strong technical, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills required
  • Must possess the ability to effectively interact with and support multiple project managers/project teams and maintain open lines of communication
  • Skilled in computer applications with demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook) and the current Work Order Management system required
  • The employee may be required to periodically visit construction vehicles, and walk along varied terrain including streets, pathways, public and private rights of way
