Jupiter seeks to hire a highly motivated and experienced professional as its Principal Solution Architect. The successful candidate will lead Jupiters cloud architecture initiatives, leveraging deep domain knowledge and hands-on experience in cloud technologies, Databricks, Spark, and full-stack development to drive innovation and optimization across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead extended team to develop and implement robust cloud architecture solutions to optimize energy storage operations and asset optimization.
- Lead the design and development of scalable and efficient data and machine learning pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and operations to identify and implement cloud-based solutions. Insure the scalability and robustness of the solution and its life cycle sustainability and maintainability.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, big data, and full-stack development.
- Mentor and guide architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Ensure cloud solutions leverage the latest advancements and best practices in cloud architecture, data science and data engineering.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or plus in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOp, data engineering, and full-stack development.
- Extensive experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Spark).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, or/and Scala, or/and JavaScript.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions.
- Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL and MLOp processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Established record of leading teams for production software development.
- Knowledge of optimization techniques and their application in energy storage operations
