Here is how the Trading & Scheduling Specialist Associate /I/II/III/IV role will impact our business:
This role is responsible for gathering pipeline, and interstate pipeline transportation-related activity, including nominations, capacity release, imbalance monitoring, accounting, and customer communication. Analysts must be able to communicate operational issues with external customers and internal departments to ensure pipeline systems are both physically and contractually balanced. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills are important aspects of the position. Analysts should be able to not only analyze data at the detail level but also understand the high-level implications, thereby being able to identify and resolve issues independently.
Operating in the ever-changing natural gas market and regulatory arena requires that EQT and its employees ensure both FERC and NAESB regulatory compliance by adhering to strategic plans, policies, and procedures. Various regulatory agencies and processes within EQT require time-sensitive transactions/activity; the analyst must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, understand job priorities, and manage processes within strict deadlines
